The Presidential tribunal sitting in Abuja headed by Justice Harura Tsammani heeded to the request to adjourn INEC defence to tomorrow July 4 following the agreement of other parties, INEC had failed to begin it’s defence on 2023 presidential election.
As a result, the tribunal has now adjourned to Tuesday July 4.
Three aggrieved parties and their candidates are challenging the outcome of the presidential election in court.
The petitioners are LP and Obi, Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and Allied Peoples Movement.
Following the parties, together with their candidates in separate petitions dragged the election commission, the President, Tinubu, his vice- Kassim Shetima and their party, the APC to court.
They had closed their case on June 23, leaving the stage for respondents in the matter to table their defence before the court.
