Five Communities with Rafi Local Government Area in Niger State have thrown into mourning has bandits killed over twenty-five farmers and abducted scores of women and girls.
Confirming the ugly incident, a community leader who does not want his mentioned due to security reasons alleged that the bandits have resumed attack in the some time communities in the local government with full force in recent times.
He appealled to governments and security forces to come to their aid to ameliorate their hardship.
Police Public Relations Officer, Niger State Command, DSP Wasiu Abiodun said police in collaboration with military have been deployed to all the communities to restore normalcy in the affected areas.
