CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION: AKURE SOUTH PDP GREETS MEMBERS, ASSURES THEM OF BETTER DAYS AHEAD
The Akure South chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP felicitates Christians and the entire party members in Akure and its environs on the occasion of the joyous celebration of Christmas.
In a statement made available through the Party Secretary, describes Christmas as fundamental and significantly essential in Christian faith which is marked annually to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Again, the statement advised party faithful and members of the public to embrace the core values of love, faith, giving, selflessness, sacrifice, forgiveness and peace in their daily living, particularly, during this festive period as exemplified by our Lord Jesus Christ who’s the main reason for the season.
The party however implore all her supporters across board to be moderate in their celebration, to be security conscious and to extend hands of love to others by sharing with them out of the little they have, regardless of the level of hardship and suffering in the land.
The party urges her members not to despair or be discouraged, emphasizing that 2024 will offer new breath of hope to all and sundry. Members therefore must remain steadfast, committed and resolute in their determination and quest to provide a better alternative to the people of Ondo State during next year’s Gubernatorial Poll.
The party in her remarks, commends all members for their doggedness, resilience, courage, loyalty and support over the years despite its opposition status since 2017. The continued cooperation and commitment from everyone who has PDP at heart has been the needed motivation and required synergy for the party to go this far. Assuredly, 2024 shall be a year of fulfillment for us all and the state at large.
While wishing people of Akure and its environs, as well as all our members across board a Merry Christmas Celebration and Prosperous New Year 2024 in advance, the chapter at the same time extends its gratitudes to some notable individuals in our party who out of their magnanimity doled out largesse to all categories of members to make yuletide season enjoyable and memorable.
