The Kaduna State Government has set up a committee on provision of palliative to cushion the effect of hike in price of petrol motor spirit ( PMS).
Governor Uba Sanni disclosed this while meeting with organised labour in the State. He used the avenue to applauded the labour leaders for harmonious relationship that existed between them and the state Government
Governor Sanni said the committee is put in place to come up with palliative measures that would be suitable for the state workers and good people of Kaduna State and for the project to be successful, organised labour in the state must be involved.
The State Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress ( NLC), Comrade Ayuba Mogaji Suleiman said Governor Sanni has passion for his people that neccessited the formation of the committee and they are happy to be part of the arrangement.
On his part, the state chairman of Trade Union Congress ( TUC) Comrade Abdullai Suleiman Dan Fulani appreciated Governor Uba for his gesture and appealed to him to always give listening ears concerning problems of their members.
The committee comprises Government representatives and organized labour in the State.
