Barely few days into his appointment as the head coach of Nigeria football senior team handler, Finidi George has resigned from his position.
His decision might be influenced by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announcement to hire a foreign technical adviser.
Finidi was appointed on April, 29 2024 to replace Jose Peseiro whose contract in February this year.
During his short reign, he had a draw with South Africa in Uyo and 2-1 defeat to Benin Republic, both in 2026 World Cup qualifying series.
