Adaeze Oreh, daughter of former Rivers State governor Peter Odili has been nominated as commissioner designate in Rivers State. Governor Siminalayi Fubara submitted the names of commissioner nominees for screening to the Rivers House of Assembly on Friday, and Oreh was among the five nominees.
Oreh is an expert in health care sector and she has been committed to improving public health in the state.
Mrs Oreh, a family physician, public health specialist, and universal health care advocate will bring her wealth of experience to her new role.
She recently earned a promotion as a senior medical officer at the department of Hospital services in the Federal Ministry of Health.
With a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Master’s degree in Public health obtained in United Kingdom.
Oreh is well equipped to contribute to the health care sector in Rivers State.
Oreh has served on the Governing council of Pamo University of Medical Sciences, further demonstrating her commitment to the advancement of heath care in the State.
Mrs. Adaeze Chidinma Oreh was born over 43 years ago.
